About the Webinar
The COVID-19 Pandemic has triggered a reform in the Justice System in India. Earlier this year, the Supreme Court began conducting hearings online via video conferencing.
Parliamentary Panel on Law and Justice has recommended the continuation of virtual courts even in a post- COVID scenario but it has also expressed the need for upgrade in the infrastructure especially in District Courts, to implement this. The Webinar will be focused on the way forward for virtual courts, a reform long overdue in the Indian Judiciary.
