The Chair on Intellectual Property Rights at National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) was instituted under SPRIHA, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (DIPP-CIPAM), Government of India with the vision to facilitate Intellectual Property Education and Research.

About the Speaker

Dr. Ashwini Siwal

Dr. Ashwini Siwal is serving as Assistant Professor in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Delhi. He is the Director of “LC-II Entrepreneurial Law Clinic” at Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.

He holds Doctorate Degree in Data Security Laws & LL.M. (Science, Technology & Law) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal. He specializes in Intellectual Property Laws, Information Technology Laws and Anti-Trust Laws. He has developed a “Survey course on IPR” which is available as MOOC.

Presently he is a member of High powered “National Committee on IP” of Confederation of Indian Industry.
